- Khudiram Bose
The young freedom fighter born in Midnapore, 3 Dec 1889. He was an Indian nationalist from Bengal presidency who oppose the British rule in India.

Born in Midnapore, birsingha village
- Rishi Raj Narayan Bose
He is the teacher of Rabindranath Tagore
